Famitsu Publish Readers Most Wanted Games of 2012

Famitsu, a Japanese gaming publication, have announced their readers most wanted games of 2012. The list brings a blend of 3DS, Wii, PS3, PSP and Vita titles, which you can see below.


Dragon Quest X for the Wii hits the top spot, which is not surprising, as the Dragon Quest series is immensely popular over in Japan. What would be in your most wanted list for this year? Let us know in the comments!

  1. I read somewhere they passed a law in Japan to prevent Dragon Quest's being released on a weekday for fear of too many people skipping work/school to play it. DQ V and VIII were outstanding, so no doubt X will rock too.

    Other ones that stand out for me this year are WipEout 2048 and Uncharted for the Vita. I doubt that I'll be able to afford to play them anytime soon though... lol :P

    Nice to see the PSP still going strong overseas - Final Fantasy Type-0 looked fantastic when demoed so I'll throw that one in too (if they ever bother localising it). :)

    1. I'm not surprised if they did pass that law, that series is huge out there!

      I'm intrigued about Uncharted for the Vita, but seeing as I've just got a Nintendo 3DS, I cannot afford one of those right now!
