Silent Hill HD Collection Delayed

Silent Hill HD Collection has become the latest in a long line of games to gain a March 2012 release.

The collection, which bundles together HD remakes of Silent Hill 2 and 3, was due to be released on the 24th January. Konami have not explained why the release date has been changed, but it could be due to some last minute tweaks perhaps?

Those looking for some new Silent Hill action can at least look forward to Silent Hill: Downpour, which will be released later this week.

  1. I think, like a lot of people, I went off Silent Hill a bit after being amaized by 2 and somewhat dissapointed by 3.

Being a bit of a survival-horror fan I probably will still have a look at the new games though.

  2. Perhaps it's to avoid a clash with the launch window of the Vita? SH1, 2 and 3 were all great - no coincidence the series has fallen from grace since they started handing development duties to unheralded western houses. Still, maybe I'm being too pesemistic - Downpour looks cool :)
